introduction of the passive start system with remote control function
along with the improvement of people’s living standards, the car is becoming more and more important in people's daily life. in modern time, the car is not just a tool instead of walking, but also reflect people's pursuit for the life quality. the upgrade from immo, to rke, and then to peps reflect people’s demand for car humanization. with the application of 3g technologies’ application in automobile, people's demand for auto remote control is going strong. at present the most commonly used way to realize remote control is through the remote-control information to control the passive start system, but the general remote-control unit cannot realize remote control.
to meet people's demand for remote control, we developed passive start system with remote control function. as shown in the figure below, the mobile phone and passive start system establish connection through 3g module, and the mobile phone and 3g module establish connection through the network. after having received the user command through the phone app , 3g module send control commands to passive start system through can bus, which can realize power-on , starting engine, flameout, unlock, closure, remote control the engine and so on, which are relevant with passive start system.

in order not to reduce the anti-theft function of the passive start system, 3g module have to be verified when sending the remote control command to the passive system. if verified, the passive start system can receive the remote control command, if not, don’t response.
after authentication verified, the passive start system receives the 3g module’s command, and test vehicle’s status, including the power, gears, doors, locks, braking, anti-theft and so on. if the status meet the remote control requirement, the passive start system perform the corresponding action. if not, it will feed back the reasons of failure .
in remote control status, when the door or the braking status change, the remote control exit,and the vehicle return to the status before the remote control. when press the start button, the passive start system began to look for the legal key, if find it, the remote control exit, if not, the vehicle keep the current status.
if having received the engine forbidden command from 3g module, the passive start system will test the engine whether meet the forbidden condition. if meet, the engine will be forbidden, if not, the command will be saved until meeting the condition. when the engine is forbidden, if the user starts the vehicle, the key does not respond to the identity authentication request of the anti-theft engine unit, and sends alarm.
the passive start system also provide remote reminder function. when the vehicle status changes, the passive start system send the alarm message to the user through 3g module.
